but i dont know what changed but i failed it over 10 times already. Did it on the first time on most of my playthroughs. No quest appears, no items gained, no skill bonus either. Normaly i dont have problems with this quest. It is possible to skip this quest and still earn +2 exp if the fledgling has sufficient seduction skill (unsure level I had a 7, I think) and is willing to be Romero’s date.Failure to prevent the zombies from escaping will result in a Masquerade Violation.Don't let the zombies break through the gates! someone have an easy way to do it Ive got fed up and played till i got the flamethrower. Romero wants you to watch the cemetery for five minutes while he takes care of important business. Normaly i dont have problems with this quest. Speak with Romero once he has returned.Kill any zombies attempting to escape the cemetery through either of the two gates.Choosing this quest makes it impossible to do the other and vice versa.

Trivia As this is a fetch quest its title 'Dead Ex' is an obvious pun on the real-world delivery service FedEx. The latter is only possible if the protagonist refuses the former. The caretaker, Romero, will offer both the You Only Die Once a Night quest, and the Pimpin' for Romero quest.

By asking him if he needs help with something else he will also offer the Pimpin' for Romero quest. There are two additional quests available in the graveyard. Inside, the shop has been ransacked, though no money has been taken. Concerned, the gang take the Dragonfly Jet to Calcutta, where they find his shop closed on a busy market day. Romero will ask if the fledgling is willing to keep watch while he's out doing some business, offering this quest. An attempt to do so ends in failure when a scarred man tells Hadji to 'come and get Pasha' before ripping the phone from the wall at his shop. To acquire it one has to enter the cemetery through the hole to the right from the main gate and enter the shack down the hill.

This quest is given by Romero, the caretaker of the Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
